The square was once home to a cloister and other buildings. Today, the well house of the healing spring still stands there. The square is surrounded by the monastery church and other monastery buildings. Each building has an information board, so you can be your own tour guide.
The church is completely closed in January and February. It's best to check beforehand or just look from the outside (like I did 🤨).

Heilsbronn Abbey (Latin: Abbatia Fons Salutis) is a former Cistercian abbey in Heilsbronn, Franconia. From 1297 to 1625, the abbey was the burial place of the Franconian Hohenzollerns.
