Geichsenhof (Geiksəhūf [2]) is a district of the municipality Neuendettelsau in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia.

The place was first mentioned in a purchase letter 1259 as "Geseze" [4], 1402 was the name "Geyssenhoff". From this it can be concluded that goats were originally kept on the farm. [2]

The Geichsenhof was originally owned by the Lords of Pfefferbalg. In 1259 Heinrich Pfefferbalg, pressed by debt, sold the farm to Edelwinus, the ninth abbot of the Heilsbronn monastery. The monastery managed the farm for centuries until its dissolution in 1578. From the year 1369 it is reported that 400 sheep, 6 horses, 5 cows, 3 calves belonged to the farm and that he was free of debt. [5]

In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Windsbach from 1608, 1 team was recorded for Geichsenhof, which was owned by the Heilsbronn Monastery Administrator. The owners could not comply with this, after all the farm fell back to rule in 1669. Seven years later it was sold for 180 guilders.
