          The "Ursula" mill is a gallery Dutch mill.
          This Dutch Dutchman in Barlt is one of the few mills in Dithmarschen where grain is still ground today. Interested visitors are allowed to visit them. The owner then turns the blades of the mill. For a while, however, it was not possible to drive the grinders with the wind, because the Bunkel, a small gear at the top of the standing wave, had become damaged. After a complete renovation, the mill has been fully functional again since 1999. The electric motor not only drives a forage meal, but also the spur gear and with it another feed and baking meal.

          In 1875 the mill became the successor to a very old post mill that existed as early as 1669. The new building initially stood on a mill hill. It was not until 1923 that the Nordermühle was three meters higher and placed on a substructure. At the same time she changed her name: "Aeolus" was now called "Dorothea". Today she is called "Ursula".
          It has a compass rose, two grinders, a motor gear and Venetian blinds, which were renewed in 1994. A complete wheat mill is available and the mill is still in operation today for grinding fodder. During the annual mill days on Whit Monday, demonstrations take place here. A visit is possible by arrangement.

          Zwickstellholländer: There are different designs of the Dutch windmills. The Zwickstellholländer, also known as the Galerieholländer, has a wooden walkway (Zwickstell) from which the codend (control beam), wing and brake are operated.
