The idyllic place around the Glumenhütte invites you to take a break.
My suggested route: Wildhaus - wildly romantic Flürentobel - Alp Tesel - P1442 m where both paths come together - Glumenhütte - Gulmen - Glumenhütte P1442 m - Langenboden - Vorder Baholz - Bodenweidli - Wildhaus
On the ascent, the path leads through the beautiful, wild, romantic Flürentobel, then the Teselalp is used to reach point P1442 m. With the exception of a few passages, the gradient usually remains moderate. You can always find flat passages. Of course, the ascent with the Gamplütbahn can be shortened: time is hardly saved, but at least 250 meters are lost.
The entire ascent to the Glumen is extremely varied. The wildly romantic Flürentobel is followed by a longer passage through romantic coniferous forests. From the height of the Gulmenhütte, the forest is slowly becoming thinner and pines are gaining the upper hand. The Churfirsten in the back, the Rhine Valley on the right, Wildhuser Schafberg, Moor and Girenspitz on the left - this is how it goes with good prospects over the long back of the Gulmen through the endless, clear forest of pines.
On the Gulmen (1999m) you can enjoy a wonderful panorama. There is an intimate insight into the south flanks / walls of Schafberg, Moor, Girenspitz and Altmann and rewarding views of Churfirsten, Alvier Group and Obertoggenburg.
