    Rochehaut takes its name from its unique location with one of the most beautiful panoramas in the country. Located at the end of a plateau, on a rocky promontory, the wooded slope extends to the plain of Laviot. From Rochehaut you can look down on two valleys. In one of these valleys, a loop of the Semois surrounds the picturesque village of Frahan, with its characteristic chapel, slate-roofed houses and tobacco drying places.

            This is a splendid lookout over Poupehan from the heights of Rochehaut. You can even have food not far from that point at the Point De Vue restaurant and sit at their terrace while glancing at it!

                            Famous viewpoint of the picturesque village of Frahan. At the start of my early morning walk, Frahan was hidden invisibly under a thick, yet spectacular, layer of clouds. In the afternoon this had completely disappeared and Frahan was bathed in sunlight.
