With its lush stalactite decoration, the Devil's Cave resembles a treasure trove. Hans Brand must have felt like discovering a treasure when, in 1922, he broke through the nine-meter-thick wall of the antechamber and became the first person to enter the cave behind it. Today, approximately 800 meters of the illuminated tunnels can be explored on a guided tour.

The Devil's Cave is an impressive stalactite cave and part of the “Jura Caves Adventure World”. It is the largest of the numerous caves in Franconian Switzerland and a popular excursion destination, which is why the cave is sometimes "a little" overcrowded at peak times and during the holidays. The tour through the cave is a great experience; in addition to the stalactites, you can also marvel at the skeleton of a cave bear. After the tour, you can enjoy coffee and cake in the terrace cafe at the entrance. You should plan a visit at less busy times, it's worth it.
