The telecommunications tower Rosengarten was built in the 1990s as a replacement for a lower steel cellar tower. Originally conceived as a television and radio tower, the tower no longer broadcasts TV channels since switching to DVB-T2. Today, the tower is used for radio broadcasts and as a mobile tower.

The Rosengarten telecommunications tower is a 161 m high type tower near Langenrehm in the Harburg district of Lower Saxony that was built in the mid-1990s.
The telecommunications tower is located approximately 120 m southwest of the summit of the Gannaberg (approx. 155 m above sea level) - above the 149 m elevation line.
The tower is operated by the Deutsche Funkturm company. FM radio is broadcast. Unfortunately, the public is not allowed access.
