An institution in the region to reach on gravel road well by car. Classic beer garden atmosphere. Well-attended in the right weather. I recommend the journey by bike, for example along the Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal.

There is a lot to see at the bridge canal through the crossing of the Schwarzach with the canal - a technical monument. From the beer garden it is worthwhile to take an exciting walk through the Schwarzach Gorge. Not just for children an experience.

The inn is idyllically located, right next to the old canal bridge that carries the historic “Ludwig-Donau-Main-Kanal” with a huge arched structure over the Schwarzach.
The ideal “meeting place” for cyclists and hikers from the Schwarzach valley and the Ludwigskanal.
There are Franconian delicacies and a pint of good “Landwehr beer” in the shady beer garden.
Opening times:
Daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Closed on Mondays (except on public holidays)
The kitchen is open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
