The Bücheler Mühle was first mentioned in 1785. Nothing is known about what type of mill it was. It burned down in the 19th century, was rebuilt and, like many mills, changed hands frequently.
The seclusion and solitude in the deep Enderttal also caused some bizarre stories to circulate. The Büchelermühle was not spared either. At the end of the 19th century it was still believed that the then owner "Hupp Mattes" prepared all kinds of practical jokes for his neighbors as a witch. (Source: goebels-muehle.de/willkommen/)

The mill is somewhat secluded in the Enderttal on a floodplain-like area. On the hiking trail "Through the wild Endert", which was voted Germany's most beautiful hiking trail in 2019, you can not only experience the Büchelermühle, but also all the other mills on the Endert.
