The town hall tower is the highest tower in Görlitz, offering the best view of the city and the surrounding area. Every full hour between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. you can climb the town hall tower and enjoy the view as part of a guided tour.
Meeting point is in front of the stairs at the foot of the tower. Tickets are available there immediately before the tour (October 2019: 4 EUR for adults/ 1.50 EUR for children).
Once at the top, you can add the tower stamp to your admission ticket, so to speak as "proof" and a souvenir for the ascent.
The tour lasts about 45 minutes.

The Annunciation pulpit, which is located to the side of the stairs, was also built at the same time. The sculptor Andreas Walther I decorated the stairs with motifs that were unusual for the time.
