The synagogue in Görlitz is a Jewish house of worship built between 1909 and 1911 with predominantly neoclassical features. During the November pogroms on November 9, 1938, it suffered only minor damage and was the only synagogue in what is now Saxony that was not destroyed that night. Since there was no longer a Jewish community in Görlitz after the Second World War, the building fell into disrepair over the following decades. The comprehensive renovation and restoration began in 1991 and was completed in December 2020.

The synagogue was built in Art Nouveau style from 1909-1911. During the November pogroms in 1938, it was the only one in Saxony to be destroyed that night. Despite the order in Germany not to extinguish the fires by the fire brigades, it was spared because the Görlitz fire department received the order too late and fought the fires that were starting. Currently in restoration, it should become a meeting place.
