The Art Museum Tondern is housed in the newest part of the building complex with large, bright exhibition halls that are very impressive. Experience changing exhibitions of Danish and Northern European art from the 20th and 21st centuries, when the museum draws attention to the Nordic features of art history and shows new sides of works by well-known and lesser-known artists. The encounter between Nordic art and the sensual environment creates an art experience of international class.

You can also climb to the top in the water tower with the works of furniture designer Hans J. Wegner from North Schleswig. Try the chairs and feel for yourself why Wegner and his chairs are known all over the world. From the water tower you can enjoy the view and then you will surely have enough appetite for a visit to the museum café.

Admission costs 105 crowns, the equivalent of about 15 euros as an adult. Entry for children is free. In total, admission includes 3 museums (Wegner exhibition, cultural history museum and art museum) and the view of Tønder from the water tower.
