A charming old bridge with a washhouse. It's quite impressive and definitely worth a visit.

Lovely little front garden. Very well-organized, tidy, and pleasing to the eye.

Wonderful to look at in the sunlight. Not pompous, but rather practical and imposing. Unfortunately, not open to the public.

This church was not dedicated to one of the many people whom we venerate as blessed or saints and ask for their heavenly intercession with God, or - like so many French churches - to the Mother of God ("Notre-Dame"). The chosen patronage here was the incarnate Son of God, Jesus Christ himself, and the church in Entrecasteaux was consecrated to him under the title “SAINT SAUVEUR” – i.e. as the Redeemer and Savior.

13th century church on an 11th century chapel. Excellent acoustics. Notice the inscription on the lintel of the front gate. In February 1848, the Second Republic officially decided that the formula "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" would be the motto of France. Thus, from that time, in order to reconcile the clergy, certain parishes decided to write the motto on the pediments of the churches (source: archives of the Var department).

Jardin Le Nôtre at Entrecasteaux The mirror of the castle, the French-style garden attributed to André Le Nôtre, Louis XIV's gardener at Versailles, is owned by the municipality. It reproduces the architectural classicism of the royal gardens with its pruned boxwood paths around the basin decorated with an armillary sphere and their elegance with its 17th century wrought iron gate and its horseshoe stone staircase. It is framed by two tricentennial magnolias and dominated by the statue of Admiral Bruny, the illustrious navigator.
