Impressive – here is the intersection of two canals. The ship just came out of the Risseau d'Isse, and it's certainly not a small freighter.

We had to cross the main road in a rather adventurous way, as we had previously taken a different turn in the forest. It would have been better to stay on the route in the forest and walk towards the town.

We really liked the city and the surrounding area. We enjoyed our cycling trip.

The route was mostly flooded with water or muddy. We had to go around the entire eastern part of the route because it was impassable due to water and forest clearing. The journey was also made difficult by swarms of mosquitoes. Additionally, I was bitten by a tick. It is worth checking before the trip whether it is possible to cross it and be sure to equip yourself with a good repellent.

The cycle path along the canal is very well laid out. It offers a bucolic setting on its banks. You will come across a few cycle tourists who have also come to enjoy the Via Francigena.
