Beautiful remains. But don't worry, the new bridge is very solid.

Lovely place for a bike ride.

The remains of the old bridge are the remains of an old stone bridge built under Louis XIV and partially destroyed during the wars of 1814 and 1940. You can admire the three arches which still stand over the Yonne, as well as the aqueduct de la Vanne which is nearby and which was also dynamited by the French army in 1940.

The chateau was built in 1760. Outside the perimeter you will see a rather impressive gate which still bears the coat of arms of the original owner and builder, Noël Jacques Michel de Brion.

Very nice point of view on the Yonne

This church, built between the 13th and 16th centuries, has a curious square bell tower flanked by large buttresses and a turret with loopholes. The very simple interior houses paintings and statues as well as a few stained glass windows.

Charming laundry fed by the source of the Oreuse. The washhouse is located below the church and offers a view of it. Quiet and shaded: perfect for a break or picnic. There is a drinking water tap in the parking lot for Camping Cars about 100m from the laundry.
