This small isolated section of aqueduct is part of the Vanne aqueduct. This aqueduct brought drinking water to Paris from the sources of Burgundy.

Small chapel from 1637 in the middle of the woods, with a pretty roof in glazed Burgundy tiles. This chapel, dedicated to Saint Léonard de Noblat, has recently been restored. Unfortunately, the calm is spoiled by the highway which passes about 100m away; it is invisible, but perfectly audible.

This pedestrian alley which goes around Villeneuve l'archevêque is located on the site of the old fortifications of the City. The shape is almost square, like the grid plan of this city.

Very well maintained, very pleasant for a stopover.

A village washhouse, with a reach and a diversion to regulate the water level in the washhouse. The river is the Alain, a small tributary of the Vanne. There is a picnic table and the place is quiet.

This mill is on a reach adjacent to the Vanne. The small strip of land between the river and the reach forms like an island where the walk is very pleasant. There is also a laundry. The mill, which belongs to the City of Paris, operates an aqueduct lift pump.
