프랑스 코뮌 기브리(Givry)에 있는 할레 롱드(Halle ronde, „둥근 홀“)는 1825년에서 1830년 사이에 지어졌습니다. 이 건물은 지역에서 잘 알려진 건축가 라자르 나르주(Lazare Narjoux)가 설계했습니다. 원래 곡물 창고(Halle au blé)로 사용되어 주변 제분소와 주민들에게 곡물을 공급했습니다. 희귀한 원형 건축 양식 때문에 이 시장 홀은 1931년부터 역사 기념물(Monument historique)로 분류되었습니다.

라자르 나르주(Lazare Narjoux)가 1825년에 건설했으며 곡물 거래에 사용되었습니다.

Superb viewpoint overlooking the Côte Chalonnaise and the city of Chalon-sur-Saône. If the sky is clear, you can see Mont Blanc.

Once again, the builders of this small sacred monument chose a highly exposed location for the stone cross, which overlooks the expansive landscape. A multi-tiered base rises from the rocky subsoil. This culminates in a round shaft, estimated at two meters high, topped by a capital. Above it stands the actual cross, a Christian symbol of the redemptive act of Jesus, the incarnate Son of God.

Magnificent in October or November when the hillsides are adorned with autumnal hues 🍂🍁(preferably in the sun, which was not my case)

This beautiful ensemble has its origins at the end of the 12th century. It underwent significant transformations during the 15th century, notably to make it habitable. The castle is open to visits without appointment in July and August (closed on Mondays). Outside of this period, only planned group visits are possible. The estate also offers tastings and a treasure map to create with the family.

The circular market hall, built in 1825, once served as a grain trading center. Today, it regularly hosts exhibitions. Opposite is one of Givry's seven fountains, the "Fontaine aux Dauphines," which dates back to the 18th century and is decorated with dolphins, among other things.
