Oh yes, for the record: The pleasure garden has existed since the 16th century and has been redesigned several times since then. Baroque garden (1715), English landscape park (1823), ... . Now it is a beautiful park with great old trees, lots of meadows, views over Wernigerode and the castle, a playground, an orangery and several memorial sites. Simply beautiful.

The royal stables were built in 1863/64 according to the plans of the palace architect Carl Frühling. Today there are several apartments and a hall for events. If the adjacent car park is open, you can even walk around the building.

The stables are to be sold to a financially strong group. It is questionable whether everything will continue as it is after that. The city has overstretched itself financially.
