Chestnut Lake is located on the connecting road between Dresden/Eschdorf and Elbersdorf. It features several small, inviting rest areas, each with its own unique design. Information: Idyllic and well-maintained. Originally a clay pit for brick production, it was later used as a pond for trout farming.

The idyllic Lieblingstal (Favorite Valley) near Dürrröhrsdorf-Dittersbach. Information: The hike through the Lieblingstal is a popular trail that follows in the footsteps of Johann Gottlob von Quandt, leading through the romantic landscape and along the Schullwitzbach stream. The art patron Johann Gottlob von Quandt created this so-called "Lieblingstal," thus making it his "beautified landscape." He lived and worked in the region during the 19th century. The trail is idyllic, following the Schullwitzbach stream, and features monuments, the Hubertus Chapel, numerous information signs, and more. It was reopened in 2006-2007.

Dittersbach Palace Park/Garden Information: The park features the Temple Manor, two statues (Diana and a reconstruction of the nymph), a spring enclosure, a boundary wall with a gate and two smaller gates, and much more. The Wesenitz River and the Kalter Bach stream are integrated into the design.

The Grundmühle is a former watermill in the Radeberg district of Liegau-Augustusbad. One of its former names was Lochmühle (as recently as 1830). It is located on the right bank of the Große Röder River, at the edge of Saxony's oldest landscape garden, the Seifersdorfer Tal Nature Reserve. A little gimmick: If you stop for a moment on the southern bank of the Röder River, you can admire a beautiful sculpture called "The Thinker" – a homage to Rodin's Thinker.

To the left of the river is the path now called "Am Bruch," which until 1912 also served as a service road for a sandstone quarry located roughly in the middle of the river. This sandstone quarry had to significantly reduce its production in 1907 because part of it had become a large pond after a blasting operation caused water to seep in. In 1903, the artificial ruins of Drachenburg were created under Arthur Horn. They were built 500 years after the first mention of the Meixmühle, which was used for gastronomy and is located in the immediate vicinity of Drachenburg. The artificial ruins were built in memory of an old legend according to which the dragon Meix once lived in Meixgrund and demanded a farm girl as a sacrifice every year. According to the legend, the dragon was killed by a miller's boy.
