Stone arch bridges are typical of the historical infrastructure in the Ore Mountains. They were built to cross rivers and streams and are often very robust and durable. Their construction, with brick arches, blends harmoniously into the natural landscape. There are several such bridges in the Black Pockau Valley, particularly in the area between Pobershau and Kühnhaide, where the river flows through deep gorges and forests. They often connect hiking trails along the banks of the Black Pockau or cross the river to provide access to the adjacent slopes and attractions such as the Green Ditch, the Nun's Rocks, or the Talkanzel. * Hiking and nature experience: These stone arch bridges are not only functional structures, but also important elements of the nature experience in the Black Pockau Valley.
