From the Wildfrauhöhle a little further away you get a great view over the town.

The view of Lake Bostal is a particularly attractive and picturesque experience in Saarland. Lake Bostal, which stretches near Nohfelden and Oberthal, offers a beautiful backdrop and numerous vantage points from which to enjoy the lake and its surroundings. The view of Lake Bostal offers impressive views of the large body of water, partially surrounded by forests and hills. The lake covers an area of approximately 120 hectares and therefore offers far-reaching views. Background: The lake is nestled in a gently rolling landscape that is lush green, especially in spring and summer. The view is often complemented by the shimmering water and the surrounding nature.

The Oberthaler Moor, also known as Oberthaler Bruch, is a popular hiking destination. The narrow boardwalk requires a certain sense of balance.

The remains of this Celtic rampart date back to a time when the defensive wall protected the southwestern summit of the Momberg. Today, the climb to the Momberg offers not only historical insights, but also beautiful views of the St. Wendeler Land.

This chapel was built between 1761 and 1764 by the hermit Johann Nonninger. According to legend, Nonninger built the chapel to find inner peace after he was said to have been responsible for the drowning of a young man. Masses are still held here from time to time.
