Foolz Castle, built in the 19th century, is distinguished by its classical stone architecture and slender roofs. Located on the banks of the Seine, it has had several uses over time.

This village on the Côte des Bar, on the banks of the Seine, borders the town of Bar-sur-Seine. For many centuries it marked the border between the region of Champagne and that of Burgundy. The name Burgundians comes from there. Until the beginning of the 19th century, there was an old marker there which recalled this division of the territory of France into provinces.

Château de Foolz is an 18th century castle where you can explore the castle grounds and admire the architecture, or have a meal at Domaine de Foolz, a hotel restaurant which offers various activities such as quad biking and events.

If you like picturesque landscapes, winding rivers and charming villages, you should visit Bourguignons, a small village located in the Aube department, in the Grand Est region. From the village, you can take a walking path which runs along the banks of the Seine and offers breathtaking views of the river and its surroundings. You can admire the reflections of the water, the bridges, the locks, the boats and the typical houses.

Nestled in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, Bar-sur-Seine offers a peaceful landscape and the possibility of visiting the local cellars. The city is renowned for its historical heritage, in particular with the Saint-Étienne church, dating from the 12th century.
