The Château de Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer is a 17th century castle which belonged to a minister of Louis XIV. It is surrounded by a beautiful park that borders the coast. You can enjoy the view of the sea, the trees and the architecture while running along the paths. The park is open to visitors on weekends in July and August, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Plage de St Aubin sur Mer is the largest sandy beach in Seine-Maritime and offers a beautiful view of the sea and the sky. You can stroll along the 1.8 km pedestrian promenade, where you can admire the charming Belle Époque villas and the casino. You can also enjoy the fresh air and the iodine-rich water, which is said to have medicinal properties. The beach is also a historic site, as it was one of the landing places for Allied forces during World War II.

These are charming fishermen's houses painted in bright colors that contrast with the blue of the sea and the white sand.

You cannot walk this route at full tide. The walk along the top is not close to the cliffs.

The many flax fields can be admired along the way with that characteristic periwinkle blue color, but only in June, when it is in full bloom. The flax cycle route has many other very pleasant aspects when you travel it: first of all an impeccable asphalt, many places to rest, a sea air, and the assured calm of a road without any traffic, because you follow an old railway line completely renovated into a cycle path.
