The Lemon Merchant's Cross is located on the Huxlay Plateau on the Moselle High Trail. An Italian lemon merchant from Lenno on Lake Como is said to have been murdered here on his journey to Trier in 1687. His relatives had this beautiful cross erected in memory of the unfortunate merchant.
