At the same time, the park also honors the legacy of Baron vom Stein: a timeline provides information about the Baron's life and work, as well as his roots in Nassau and his legacy. From the city center, the nearest entrance to the park is opposite the palace gardens; there, a new monument commemorates Baron vom Stein.

Beautifully situated leisure park directly on the banks of the Lahn River As part of the Freiherr vom Stein Year 2007, marking the 250th birthday of Freiherr vom Stein and the 200th anniversary of his Nassau Memorandum, the baron's birthplace opened its Freiherr vom Stein Park, stretching from the grounds of Nassau Palace to the newly landscaped Lahn floodplains. Freiherr vom Stein Park offers a variety of opportunities for local recreation, sports, and long walks: mini-golf and children's play areas are integrated into the park.

The new Roman West organ in the Protestant St. John's Church in Nassau, built in 2019, is a clear representation of the old North German Baroque organ school in a modern context. This relatively small organ features pipe scales and characteristics that largely reflect this old school. To achieve a similar effect to a larger organ, numerous double-stop stops were incorporated.
