Make sure when visiting Andelys to go up to the cliff trail (GR2) this is an amazing hike/run with stunning views. Take some poles if you are not comfortable with steep portions - they are always short though.

Wonderful view of the Seine. The area of the Chateau Gaillards can be explored free of charge. The paid admission to the interior of the castle is worth m.E. but only conditionally. For the inside, the following opening times apply: 10-13 clock and 14-18 clock, last inlet c. 5:40 pm.
