산-가비노-담푸냐니‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪5‬개의 산 정상

Cervione, situated at over 300 m above sea level on the slopes of Monte Castello with great views, is a large and very lively place. There is always something going on, especially on the main road (Traversa) with its cafes and a few small shops. If you sit in front of one of the bars, you can see paragliders taking off from the Chapel of the Madonna and flying down into the plain when the weather is good. A short hike leads up to the striking viewpoint with the cross (632 m). It takes 1.5 hours there and back from the village center. A circular hike is also possible. Both are described in the hiking section. The view of the plain, the village of Cervione and the islands of Elba and Monte Cristo is beautiful!

This is a great vantage point. It is also funny that the paragliders fly very close to you here.

I came by here pretty much by chance. But it is a great destination for a hike. You can also make a nice circular route out of it and include the church at the top of the Way of the Cross. It's funny that the paragliders fly past you very close.

This peak is a relatively easy climb for a great reward. The sea views really give a sense of elevation.

A wonderful and well-marked circular hike to the summit of San Petrone. At 1767m, Monte San Petrone is the highest peak in the Castagniccia region. Castagniccia stands for the Corsican name 'chestnut grove' and covers the hilly area between Bastia and Aleria in the east of Corsica. The last ascent is again intense and well attended, I hardly met any people on my circular hike. But apparently there is still a not so intense way to the summit that comes from the north and brings some visitors with it.

I also met Monte San. Unfortunately the cow doesn't react to the name but is engaging in an intrusive way. I didn't notice the mountain there.

Great view from the summit. We sat here for a long time, ate something and enjoyed the unique view!
