The Écuries du Gouverneur in Rocroi are former military stables dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, built at a time when soldiers were no longer housed with residents but in barracks. They are part of the town's military heritage and are located near the Bastion du Roy, a strategic defense point within the star-shaped fortress. The stables originally housed the horses and equipment of the governor and his troops.

A short 2 km walk takes you on and around the fortresses.

Behind the lion rises an obelisk engraved with the names of the fallen, a sober yet poignant testament to their sacrifice. The inscription reads: "Rocroi à ses enfants morts pour la patrie 1914-1918" (Rocroi to its dead children for the fatherland 1914-1918), a tribute that reflects the city's collective grief and pride.

The Pont de France in Rocroi is a historic passageway that forms part of the town's fortifications. This stone bridge, located on the northern side of Rocroi, spans a former moat and connects the town to its outer defenses facing France. Its name refers to Rocroi's strategic location as a border town between France and the Southern Netherlands, symbolizing access to French territory. During the Battle of Rocroi in 1643, this passageway played a crucial role in the troop movements of the French army led by the young Duke of Enghien.

The Halle de Rocroi is a historic market building dating from the 17th century and is a central feature of the Place d’Armes in Rocroi. Originally built as a covered market hall, it served as a meeting place for merchants and citizens in this strategically located fortified town. The hall was constructed in a classical regional style, with a wooden roof and open arcades that provided protection from the elements. Although the building was modified several times over the centuries, it retained its function as a social and economic hub well into the 20th century.

The Église Saint-Nicolas in Rocroi is a neoclassical Catholic church, consecrated in 1844 and designed by local architect Louis-Clément Labarre. Located on the Place d'Armes, the church is a striking element of Rocroi's historic cityscape. The building is distinguished by its monumental facade with a pediment, a richly decorated interior, and an impressive 53-meter-high spire, visible from afar. It is a listed historical monument.
