Parts of the keep, the south side of the knights' hall and some cellar rooms have been surprisingly well preserved, although the castle has been a ruin since the 17th century. There are also good views of the Prüm valley here.

From the path there are always beautiful, sunny views of the Prümtal. A spot on a rock stands out particularly and is used occasionally to relax or sunbathe. Today already occupied by people who parked their car not far from this place in order to get directly to the place.

Both the tower and a cellar of the small castle are accessible and can be visited. The place is beautiful in the sun in the evening. The castle is worth a little detour.
