Villebadin Castle is a manor built at the end of the reign of Henri IV and equipped with a set of outbuildings from the second half of the 18th century. The Haras national du Pin was built between 1715 and 1730. It is the first Royal Stud desired by Louis XIV to organize the production of horses in his kingdom. Named “The Versailles of the Horse”, it is a magnificent architectural and landscaped ensemble which extends over an area of 1,100 hectares crossed by magnificent symmetrical paths. It is the oldest of the French national stud farms.
