This tower dates from the 12th century and was part of a fortified castle which was destroyed during the Hundred Years' War. The origin and function of this tower are still unknown, and some legends say that it was built by the devil himself.

In autumn, thin road bike type tires are not recommended because of the areas of dead leaves which make this green path rather slippery.

This is a beautiful 22-kilometer, fully paved cycle path. A pleasant ride in all seasons! However, be careful at every intersection with the road. Not all drivers necessarily notice this cycle path.
