A very beautiful greenway It's an old railway line that has been covered over; it used to go all the way to Dreux. We love going there for cycling, and it's also ideal for walking and rollerblading.

This forest is part of the large Dreux forest, which extends over approximately 4,500 hectares and offers runners a variety of trails where one can enjoy a peaceful landscape and observe the flora and fauna. Along the way, you will pass the Château de Sorel-Moussel, a 16th century Renaissance-style building that belonged to Diane de Poitiers, the mistress of King Henri II. You can also visit the prehistoric site of Fort Harrouard, where you will see the remains of a fortified settlement dating from the Iron Age. Finally, you can enter the Sorel forest and discover the richness of its fauna and flora, as well as some historical monuments such as the ruins of the Château de la Robertière and the octagonal pavilion.

The attractions of this town in the Eure are numerous. The banks of the Avre offer a marvelous place to stroll. The park is also very pleasant, with its Oriental plane trees planted in the 18th century. Without forgetting its private castle, its church and the small chapel of the Hermitage.

In autumn, thin road bike type tires are not recommended because of the areas of dead leaves which make this green path rather slippery.

This is a beautiful 22-kilometer, fully paved cycle path. A pleasant ride in all seasons! However, be careful at every intersection with the road. Not all drivers necessarily notice this cycle path.
