On March 27th, 2024 we were able to see the head of a stork while we were sitting on a bench below. According to NABU, the breeding season is from April to August; both parents incubate for 32-33 days. Exciting thing!

The Thieves' Tower was originally a tower with a rectangular floor plan that was open to the city side. From the 19th century onwards it was used to keep thieves, field and forest offenders safe. About half of the tower protrudes beyond the line of the wall. In the upper area it has a crenellated storey. Inside, it houses a preserved barrel vault on the second floor.
