The brick and sandstone house is privately owned, but is also beautiful to look at from the outside.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the estate served as the official residence of the bailiff of Hülst for the municipality of Legden. The building underwent extensive renovations in 1988/89 and further energy-efficient upgrades in 2011/12. The estate is now privately owned and can only be viewed from the outside. The church is beautiful inside and out. It's a great place to cool off on hot summer days. The church square is lovely too. The dahlia garden is just around the corner.
