A great cycling route and hiking trails run along the Grimmershörn bay; cycling is prohibited. There's a lovely swimming spot with beach chairs and a sunbathing lawn. Public restrooms and a great restaurant with an outdoor terrace overlooking the Elbe are also available. Highly recommended.

Duhnen is Cuxhaven's most famous seaside resort. Founded in 1902 from a fishing village, Duhnen is now Cuxhaven's most famous seaside resort.
