Caesar's Camp is an earthen mound that is over 2000 years old. The site dates back a few centuries before the Roman period. The more appropriate name for this historic site is “City of Limes”. It is in fact a “Gallic oppidum” or more certainly Gallo-Belgian which dates from well before Julius Caesar! This mound is a very long fortification which protected an area of more than 50 hectares. This earthen rampart is 3600 meters long. It still measures 9 to 12 meters high today depending on the location. The mound is framed by an exterior and interior ditch, which made it almost impassable. You are thus progressing on a historic path, an “antique route” which dates from Antiquity.

Nestled in the hollow of the cliffs of the Côte d’Albâtre, this little cove doesn’t look like much, and yet. This place gives off a peaceful atmosphere which makes the beach charming and pleasant like the hamlet which shelters it. So enjoy the calm of the coast and don't say it too much, the Puyseans keep their secret!

This path located south of rue de Limes allows you to get off the main street and admire some pretty gardens and beautiful residences. A nice surprise. Enjoy while respecting the place.

Rebuilt for structural work at the beginning of the 13th century, the church initially had flint exterior walls and an interior limestone structure with three vessels. Around 1700 a flint seigniorial chapel was built on the north side of the choir, before the aisles were removed around 1730. Around 1824, the bell tower frame was replaced by a polygonal frame spire.

This part of the GR21 joins the Val-au-Prêtre valley in Belleville-sur-Mer. The trail is located in a Sensitive Natural Area (ENS), a rich natural site of great ecological interest. It will offer you very beautiful views of the Alabaster coast.

Unusual access to the sea, the Valleuse du Val au Prêtre is an ideal little corner of paradise to recharge your batteries. Wild and authentic, it is also the preferred area for fishermen on foot to collect some shellfish at low tide. The chalk from the cliffs sometimes brings magnificent turquoise colors to the sea.

This path is very well laid out and will take you to the Val au Prêtre valley. You will take advantage of this height to admire the sea and marvel at the Alabaster Coast. From these cliffs, Loïc Dubigeon (1934-2001) painted “Cliffs at Berneval”, a work visible at the Château-Musée de Dieppe.

The Manoir de Briançon in Criel-sur-Mer is a 16th century manor house that belonged to Anne Marie Louise d'Orléans, cousin of Louis XIV, who made it a hospice and an orphanage for the children of sailors1. You can admire the architecture of the mansion, now the town hall, and see the sculpture of a little girl named Lilou, who symbolizes the orphans who were housed there. You can also explore the underground which connected the manor to the castle of Eu, or even take advantage of the art exhibitions which are held at the manor during the summer. The Manoir de Briançon is a place where history and culture meet, and where you can learn more about the life and generosity of the Grande Mademoiselle.
