The quaint Hennef Inn celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017. Located in the completely renovated Hennef train station, it offers a cozy atmosphere with room for up to 470 people. Two beer gardens are open when the weather is nice. The food was delicious and the service exceptionally friendly. An ideal final stop for hikers arriving by train; you practically walk from the inn onto the platform. Hennef Inn Opening Hours Daily from 12:00 PM Kitchen open until at least 9:00 PM

Before the railway was built, it was once a Siegschleife (a loop of the Sieg river). Now a quiet, protected natural paradise, especially for waterfowl.

The old town hall in Hennef was opened in 1912. The rise of the town with numerous companies was to be met with a representative building for the town administration.
