This location is very easy to get into the water. It's a lovely place to linger. Sometimes you even meet some really nice people. A very nice place.

The farm shop is self-service and open all day. You pay at a machine that also accepts bills. Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat 9am-12pm, Sun closed. A remnant of the Bachemer Bach flows through the park. But when it flows into the Frechener Bach, most of the water has already seeped away. Only the sewage treatment plant after that supplies the Frechener Bach with enough water to reach the Stüttgenhof in Cologne's green belt.

Many rare trees were planted here in the early 1950s and again in the early 1960s. Then the site was forgotten and the word arboretum disappeared from the city map. The treasure was only rediscovered in 2007 and labelled with foundation funds. Ten of these signs have survived to this day. Just go and read, no nature conservation, entry permitted!
