Anyone hiking from Konzen to the Imgenbroicher Venn areas has the opportunity to take a short break here.

On the way through the German-Belgian border region of the "High Fens / Eifel Nature Park", hikers not only encounter beautiful nature, but also the signposts and information boards of the "Sentier du souvenir" ("Path of Remembrance"). This is a joint project connecting the borders, which - over a total length of 94 kilometers, mainly along the former West Wall - reminds us of the horrors of war and tyranny and reminds each generation anew to maintain peace (still a very important and, if we look at the east of Europe, highly topical concern). Particularly striking (or rather: noteworthy) stations on this "Path of Remembrance" are marked with an information board - an invitation to pause on your own (life) path.
