At the parking lot, there are still a few old dumps where you can still find ore. The large parking lot is now a popular spot for RVs.

The church village is still in use today, especially for Midsummer Day. In the past, two major church festivals were celebrated: the Spring Festival in early June and the Autumn Festival in early September. Fatmomakke is a small settlement that serves as a kyrkstad (literally: "church town"). This could also be translated as a church village or church square. 80 Sami huts and 20 wooden houses are grouped around a church from 1886. People met here for church services, especially on the first weekend in June and the first weekend in September. The square served primarily as a meeting place for Sami reindeer herders. In the summer they kept their animals on the Kalfjäll, the unforested plateaus of this area.

House number 10 is also worth seeing as it can be viewed from the inside.

The church village burned down in 1921 except for 27 houses. In the olden days, going to church was a multi-day undertaking for the widely scattered rural population. Most of the time, people also used this opportunity to do business in the city, traded at the market, etc. And to offer these churchgoers shelter, the church village was built.

The old Sami church settlement in Vilhelmina is a cultural attraction for visitors. It is located on the hill Kyrkberget belonging to the place. Here you can admire several historical wooden houses of the natives of Lapland.
