In the Sami language, Manapi means small child or little being. The owners of the "Manapi Husky" sled dog farm have adopted the term, but they use it affectionately for their little friends, the dogs. On the 15-hectare property, there are three accommodation options: cozy in the stuga (traditional Sami cabin), rustic in the lodge, or unique in a sleeping barrel. Naturally, almost everything here revolves around the huskies, a life in harmony with nature and the dogs. Here, the dogs are family members, not just working animals.

The whole valley is great for fishermen, hikers and we came across a few mountain bikers, but that seems very difficult to do

not a long walk, but a nice circular walk or you can follow the long route along the river.

All along these waterfront routes, you'll find fire pits, even covered ones, where you can barbecue or picnic in case of rain. Super fun and well-maintained.

A primeval forest and the famous rapids of the Vindelälven river await you in the nature reserve. In the area you will find several hiking trails and lovely resting places.

You can camp here. There are two windbreak cabins, a dry toilet and... you can see it.

On the south side the old river bed is bare. Here, the river water carved out a rocky landscape with giant cauldrons over thousands of years.
