We started from Ramundberget and hiked to the Fältjägaren cabin. The initial stretch at Ramundberget is quite steep, so take it slow to conserve your energy. It’s an 18 km one-way hike, mostly through high and flat terrain. Along the way, there are plenty of fresh water streams where you can refill your bottle. The cabin itself is very nice, with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. There are also nearby lakes with great fishing—just remember to purchase a fishing permit in advance. The views along this hike are simply amazing! I can highly recommend this hike!

A small provision cupboard for supply is available. The Stuga is on a hill. View in good weather is fantastic. When there is a lot of wind, it blows quite well here.
