Here you are standing on Salmivaara, located on a peninsula in Lake Kilpisjärvi. From its summit, you can enjoy the wonderful panoramic view across Swedish Lapland, the Finnish Highlands, and the Norwegian mountains.

When approaching from Abisko Turiststation, you'll barely notice the hills size, you can only appreciate it if you continue further towards Lapporten

Sweden's highest peak. Great views when the weather's good. You should bring crampons because you're walking on glaciers, and the summit is steep. The risk of slipping is not low, and it's a long journey down.

An iconic and shapely peak that's held sacred by Sámi people, Saana rises on the border between Finland, Sweden and Norway. To celebrate a century of Finland's independence, the mountain was lit in blue light in Decemeber 2017, the largest such illumination in the world.

From Abisko Turist it takes 3 hours to the Nuolja summit. Two segments are quite steep, the rest is what I would rate as "normal uphill". From Aurora Sky Station it is 2 more easy kilometers to the summit. The whole trail is marked with red hexagonal markers. Báddosdievvá is a hill which rises approx. 50 meters above its surroundings. The rock is a sacred place where the Sami people used to sacrifice to their gods.

On top of Sweden, beautiful. The walk to it is quite long and especially with snow sometimes quite difficult. But despite that, it's definitely worth it! With the view must have succeeded a bit. Watch out for bad weather forecasts and make sure you have good and warm clothes! For the last 100 meters, spikes or crampons can be useful, but this is not necessary.
