An interesting structure built out of wooden poles. Likely used as a marker for those travelling on the lake.

It has been a long time since iron was produced at Strömbergs Bruk. After almost 300 years of dust and thunder from the explosion of furnaces and hammers, everything went quiet when production stopped in 1920. There is also a restaurant.

Beautiful area and great nature reserve. Be careful, it is mainly swampland with lots of standing water, so expect a lot of mosquitoes!

Strömsbergs bruk is a well-preserved 19th century mill village with a nice café with a view over the mill dam.

During wintertimes the water tap is closed to prevent freezing.

The flora is a nature reserve of just over 5,500 ha. To get over the bog, which can be very wet in the spring, there are several footbridges in the area.

You have a clear view of the Baltic Sea and the approach is not too far .. The house is enough for 5-6 people when it rains - it is cozy. But please take the rubbish with you, unfortunately not everyone does.
