In Siljansnäs, just over a mile from Leksand, there are four cross country trails with varying hilly and occasionally striking views of Siljan. The different trails are small adventures along paths and forest roads, through old-growth and cultural landscapes, with Siljan's water mirror in almost all directions.

Great natural history museum with a new wooden tower. No entrance fee. Great view from the tower of the lake and the surrounding forests. Lots of information about nature, animals and the surrounding area.

There are always two rowing boats here that can be used free of charge. You can row to the small island and have a picnic there. You can also get a permit from the authorities to spend the night on the island. A great thing in the summer.
