The Kvidinge Monument commemorates the death of Crown Prince Charles August of Sweden. On May 28, 1810, while inspecting troops, he suffered a stroke and fell from his horse, an event that led to a major political crisis and riots in Stockholm. The monument, a large granite stone with an inscription, marks the exact spot where he fell. It stands as a significant historical landmark in the region.

Situated at the foot of the Söderåsen ridge, the town is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape, combining its industrial history with easy access to hiking and outdoor activities.

Klippan's identity is deeply connected to the Klippan paper mill, which was founded in 1573 and is one of the world's oldest.
