Muonio is a small town located in the far north of Finland, in the Lapland region, close to the Finnish-Swedish border. Muonio is part of the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, which is one of Finland's largest national parks. The area is also a great spot to witness the Northern Lights, especially during the winter months.

The peak of Olos fjell (elevation 524m). Good views towards all directions. A little noisy place due to windmills. Easy to reach along trails from various directions.

Different types of hot chocolate or coffee drinks with cream and a nice selection of cakes and chocolates made in-house. Don't be put off by the kitschy branding, it's quite cozy inside 😊

It is worth going up here in summer, a great all-round view

Great place to have a great chat with friends or whatever. Left toilet, in the middle a closed, very clean little house with a grill in the middle and on the right wood 😊 so awesome!
