Here, the scenic Salpa Line trail passes through the estate, offering a glimpse into Finnish war history amidst tranquil parklands and forests. The manor also provides accommodation and a range of activities, including guided tours and horse riding, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience.

Pitkäkoski Sawmill is the third oldest sawmill site in Finland, originally founded in the 1720s and permanently established in 1738. Over the years, it changed owners several times, becoming an important local employer during the 1940s under Väinö Vuorela. Although sawmill operations ended in the mid-20th century, a mill continued to operate on the site until the 2000s, and the power plant still produces electricity today. The area has historical value and sits near a river and dam, making it a scenic stop for cyclists. For safety reasons, visitors must not enter the "Tammen Bridge" above the dam.

The Virolathi Bunker Museum was opened in 1980 and a visit will give you an insight into the history of the bunker system in this area. While you can read or see a lot about the history in the visitor center, you can experience it first hand in the bunkers in front of it. The museum opens at 10 a.m. and is open until 4 or 6 p.m. depending on the time of year.

King’s Road, also known as Museum Road, is a historic route that formed part of the medieval royal road along the coast, connecting Turku and Viborg. Once traveled by kings, messengers, and merchants, it now serves as a scenic and cultural landmark, preserving centuries of Nordic history.
