​Hanko is the "Riviera of Finland," and boasts over 130 kilometres of coastline, including 30 km of sandy beaches and more than 90 islands, making it a popular summer destination. The town has a rich maritime history, with its port being the southernmost in Finland and a significant hub for international trade. Hanko also offers cultural experiences, including the Hanko Music Festival and various summer events.

Old highway alignment, now very little traffic, pretty flat, okay asphalt.

nice and quiet, almost flat, good asphalt, makes a nice loop from Hanko

quiet little side road past the dynamite factory, flat with good asphalt; “no vehicles” (incl. bicycles) traffic signs at both ends plus plenty of no trespassing signs (for some strange reason with Russian on top...) so not quite sure if one is supposed to be here, anyway the bike path next to the highway is okay as well

definitely the best way to/from Hanko (on land, anyway), not much traffic, flat, generally okay asphalt with some rough spots

even more nice old villas, little traffic and a way to avoid the section of Täktomintie with a bike path...

now asphalt all the way! (the paved route goes via the T intersection in the SW corner but should be obvious enough)
