This branch of the lynx trail nearby Suvipielinen lake passes through a magical, dense and muddy forest.

This charming little lake is worth a detour from the main route of the lynx trail.

Extended and protected mire area, home to various bird species and flying squirrels. The long boardwalk through the centre of the bog and the circular trail are part of the lynx trail network (Ilvesreitti).

Beautiful part of the Pääjärvi circular trail. You cross the middle of the lake, first on a kind of ridge, than over a boardwalk and a bridge.

This is a so-called esker ridge, formed by a glacier in the ice age. A picturesque trail follows the top of the ridge about one kilometer, flanked by steep slopes.
